About Us

It all started in the Summer of 2015, when Kingsley talked Sofia into presenting at Scala Exchange. The only time either could find to bounce Sofia’s talk around and get feedback was over breakfast before ‘the day’ started proper.

From those sessions it was obvious that both shared a interest in tech and passion for breakfasts.

After the exchange, there seemed little reasons to stop breaking up the weeks with breakfast catch ups and more tech chat. Inspired by casual but passionate formal of ‘the daddy’ of tech podcasts by the Java Posse, Kingsley (again) talked Sofia into trying out podcasting the catch ups. Combining informal reviews of breakfast points around London and tech chat, marked the birth of breakpoint radio.
